Born to Sardinian immigrants, my maternal grandparents left the island in the 1950s to escape poverty. At a time when shepherds were emigrating to South America to tend to the herds of haciendas, my grandparents married and left for France the next day (and later had many children).
I discovered the island at the age of 6 with my parents, traveling to the family home of my great-grandfather, who was still alive at the time (Sardinia is known as the island of centenarians, like Okinawa in Japan). My first encounter with Mediterranean ambiance, folk dances, riders in costume, Casu Martzu (forbidden cheese), elders sitting on village benches discussing the world until late into the night, and dreamy beaches will forever be etched in my memories.
As the years passed, I often returned in the summers, alternating between Corsica and Sardinia. Over time, my studies in History and Tourism fueled my desire to discover cultures, art, architecture, and the joy of sharing.
Combined with my 10 years of experience in luxury hospitality, particularly in the upscale resort of Megève where I reside, I have developed a passion for excellence in hospitality, service, and attention to detail that sets me apart. Now working in real estate, I aim to introduce you to the many facets of the island (and Mont Blanc) through carefully selected accommodations.
